A good end to a difficult season, at last Matt can have some rest from match report duty!!
Sunday was another good show of attitude, and for once we got the look that has not been our's all season, with Park Taver hitting the woodwork and it not going in!!
A great goal by Kelvin, let's hope he can do more of that next season!! Although we do need to get Andy to take a bit of his kicks, we'll never catch them if they land in the net!!
Anyone that hasn't voted yet, and is struggling on who to vote for might want to consider who is top of the Fantasy league points - just goes to show what a consistent performer your top scorer is, depite a season disrupted by a savage injury.
Here's to pre season ;D

Yep it was nice to finish the season with a victory and I think we were owed that one.
The last seven games of the season have showed that we can at least compete in this division. Unfortunately there have been too many games when we didn't even seem to put up a fight, particularly in the games against sides towards the bottom of the table. Our performances against Beeston United and Varsity immediately spring to mind.
However, on the plus side I think we need to give ourselves a pat on the back for continuing to turn up each Sunday morning and keep trying to turn things around. Many clubs would have gone to the wall if they'd suffered some of the wretched results we had!!
As I'm always the eternal optimist I'm hoping that, with our team spirit and the form we showed during the last two months of the season, we can improve significantly during the 2005/6 campaign. There are a few changes planned which you'll find out about soon.
In the meantime enjoy your well earned break and recharge the batteries.
