Reports of Daniel Kents departure from Bridge Inn FC are greatly exaggerated.
Rumours have been circulating that the young forward was being chased by Division 1 side Beeston Rylands Academy. Whilst confirming that an offer has been made, Dan went on to confirm his commitment to the Bridge Inn FC, stating that he was happy playing for a club that offered such a good atmosphere and was clearly on the up and up.
A chat with Bridge Inn hero Stephen "Harry" Harold helped convince the young forward there was "No place like Bridge Inn"!!!

Glad to hear it Dan. For the last two seasons we didn't even know the player who would eventually become our top goalscorer at the start of the season so it will be nice to keep hold of all of the attacking options we have at the moment. Although it makes it more difficult for you (and Adam and Manny) for the rest of us it's great. We have always been a team that has got success by keeping it tight at the back and taking the few opportunities that come our way (well, apart from last season : . It will be nice to have at least two or three players who can challenege for the top goalscorer award this season. Otherwise I'll have to dust off my goalscoring boots. Did you know I was top goalscorer during the 1995/96 season

i knew, just figured that year it must have been really hard to find strikers....!
Besides matt, i heard a rumour you were going on 30!?!
Although i found it hard to believe, if this is true, surely your about due retirement!?
I still fully intend on retireiving top goalscorer for a second season running.
