just a quick note to say that the performance you produced yesterday was not a bottom of the table outfit. we continued to look for the break through and finally got it but i dont' think we could have argued if the game finished a draw. But then thats the difference in terms of luck at different ends of the table, we will treat this as a wake up call and put the effort in , in the remaining games, good luck with the rest of the season and im sure you can pick up many more points.
Also im sure we would be interested in a pre season friendly if both parties are interested.
All the Best

Thanks for that Dave, you are obviously one of if not the best team in our division and we have shown our continued improvement from a team soundly thrashed 9-0 by Dynamo only 4 games ago to narrowly losing against yourselfs.
To all my players yesterday can I once again re-itereate my remarks yesterday. I was extremely proud of each and everyone of you yesterday we worked hard we played football (scary!!!!) and with a bit of luck we would have got a better result than we did.
After a poor season its nice to see the effort & commitment out there yesterday, Andy was carrying an injury, daz (midfield) is having an operation today & was struggling, Kelvin took a few knocks, but noone complained noone winged we all just got on with it.
Even though we only have two games left we need to push on with this attitude we have picked up over the last three games & get a result or two.
I hope we can keep these players we have together for next season as with some hard pre season work we can only get better.
thanks again to all my players & thanks to Samba for the game. Bring on AFC Bridgford.
Finally, I can't speak for the rest of tghe team but a pre-season friendly would be a good idea we need to play teams like yourselves in order for us to progress

I just wanted to re-iterate everything Craig has said above. It really was a pleasure to be part of the Bridge Inn FC team yesterday and there haven't been too many occasions when we can say that this season.
Work rate, commitment, teamwork, a willingness to try and pass the ball around (even if it is sometimes in our own penalty area!!) were all shown in abundance.
Yesterdays performance had all the hallmarks of a typical Bridge Inn performance and, I personally, don't think we have seen one of those for a few seasons.
We really have now set a high minimum performance level for ourselves. Our next goal has to be to try and maintain it.

Just to back up what's already been posted on here.
I thought the work rate of the Bridge Inn players was superior all over the park and maybe some of our players took the game too lightly. (hope you didn't get to close to Samba Dave's breath?) No excuses from us though. We just have to keep winning so we'll take 3 points anyway we can.
Continue to play like that next season and no reason why you can't bounce straight back up. No way was that a performance you would expect from a bottom of the table side who appear to have struggled most of the season and you should take all the credit for turning things round eventully. Good luck next season and if that offer of a friend;y was intended for us next year we may take you up on it. We're the ones who need the practice on playing teams like you!!!

Too right a good performance from front to back, throughout the team.
Hopefully we can get that bit of luck in our last 2 games!!
I think Matt may just about have convinced most of us that he is a Bridge Inn player and not a Samba reserve!!! ;D
