Tuesday saw Showboat FC take on Asda Allstars in a fiery match.
Showboat were on edge pre kickoff due to the no show of Jason. While the team were warming up each one of them knew that they could be playing 1 man down. seconds before kick off J strolls on the pitch, cool as a cucumber. Clearly up for the game.
The first half was a tough start. Both teams eager for the 1st goal. Showboat got the breakthrough with a well worked, team effort, goal. All players had touches of the ball with slick fast one touch passing.
This goal seamed to come at a price with Asda taking a turn. When players ran passed or showboat showing their natural talent the Boat found themselves on the return of a kick to the shin.
Needless to say this happened all night long.
Tempers boiled over as Jason was too much for them at time. Legally using his body strength he we rewarded by some girly handbag style push from a couple of the Asda players.
To be honest it was embarrassing at times when Asda were only there to kick the player rather than the ball.
Even with Asda switching the keeper on 3 occasions Showboat were able to romp to victory on a night that saw the highest attendance record smashed.
FT 14 - 4 to the Boat.
