Looking at the table, and judging earlier comments, on here, its good to see two teams that were not mentioned r up top. Many sed Bestwood wouldn't be anywhere neer top, and it was gonna be a Samba and Dynamo battle for top spot. Maybe I m a bit slow, but looking at the table, this doesn't look the case. A number of teams can now win it! Bestwood r top as well, AFC Bridgford look a bit of a threat as well, equal points to the mighty Samba? That'll be a good game as they play each other sunday. Its Bestwood's year, Come on the yuff!

Hi Aero, It certainly is getting tight at the top (not that I'd know much about that end of the table ). It looks like it's going to be a battle between the four teams you've mentioned above and while Bestwood Youth are top at the moment all your major rivals have games in hand. However, as the saying goes, 'it's better to have the points in the bag than games in hand'. Personally I think it will come down to who can take the most points off those other teams in the top four. If my memory serves me correctly there are still games between Bestwood Youth and FC Samba. And games between FC Samba and FC Dynamo and I am sure there are others. Put simply, whoever picks up the most points between now and the end of the season will win it. By the way Aero, can you tell me why you chose Aero Dynamix as your user name? The reason I ask is that it took me on a trip down memory lane from many, many, many years ago. Just wondered if it was related. Cheers. Matt

I agree with the above comments especially from Matt. It should all come down to who takes the most points off the other teams at the top. I think whoever wins Div 2 will be the team that deserves and wants it most and there's plenty of interesting games coming up. If we play like we did Sunday.........we'll finish 4th!! Bestwood have improved lots since last season and deserve to be up the top end of the table and whilst they had a bit of a rep as a kicking side last season they seem to play good football this season. Bridgford, ourselves and Dynamo will all have a say but dont rule out Elwes or Victory club taking points off teams (and maybe Big CityTyres although we won't let tat happen on to us again !!)

The next three weeks are very interesting I think the fixtures include:
23/1/05 - Bridgford vs Samba
30/1/05 - Bestwood vs Samba Dynamo vs Bridgford
7/2/05 - Dynamo vs Bestwood
Each side in the top four play two other sides!!
We still have to play dynamo twice as well!
