The 'mighty' boat carried on their impressive form last night as they took on Eyeball FC who were one place above them in the league.
Showboat fielded a different team from last week including a debutant (Eddie, my Mrs's brother) and the change in personel did not seem to affect The Boat.
The Boat got off to a flying start finding themselves 3-0 up within the first ten minutes, this led to some fine passing football to finally see us go into the break 6-0 up, without the Cat having to make a save.
The Boat continued their free flowing passing in the second half and showed some wonderful showboating to increase their lead to 10-0.
Eyeball FC did get 2 goals on the board through sloppy defending, however The Boat came back towards the end of the match to run out eventual winners 15-2!
Gav was amongst the goals with 6, nobody else seemed to keep count.
The Boat will now cruise on to their next came against the league toppers FFFC who currently sit 3 points above us in the table.
Up the Boat!
