I didn't really get the opportunity to thank Mike McGill yesterday before he disappeared. But I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for refereeing all of our pre-season games.

As we'll soon find out during the upcoming season it is desperately difficult to find good officials but I do honestly believe we are very lucky to be able to rely on him to officiate our pre-season friendly games season after season.

So once again Mike thanks for your help and I'll look forward to placing my annual refereeing order for this time next year.

Now boys you can look forward to having an EVEN BETTER referee for next weeks game.................. ahem

Cheers Mike, many thanks for your outstanding officiating during our pre-season. However it should definately have been a corner and not a goal kick in the game against Soldiers and Sailers (Gavs prowess in the air would have meant we would have scored from it!)

Also giving the opposition 3 pens in one game just isn't on!
