As it is now only just over a week away from the social event of the year I thought it was probably time to try and finalise the arrangements.
At the moment the plan is to meet at the Jolly Anglers at 7pm ish. Dish the trophies out at 7:30pm. Watch the Portugal v Turkey Euro 2008 game (a final score and first goalscorer sweepstake will be in operation ;D). All the time trying to drink your own bodyweight in alcohol (and if you're Harry that's a lot of alcohol
).
The last couple of seasons has then seen us hit the 'heights' of Beeston, verbally abuse the 'women' (Andy!!!) then head off for a curry where many things have been stolen including a table cloth (!) and Gareth's self respect!!!!
Would everyone be happy with this or are there any other ideas!?!?
I've recently been informed that our very own Scotsman will now be joining us (oh joy) and I'm sure he'd be delighted to show us the sights and sounds of Beeston.
