I think it has been agreed amongst the majority of players who were with us last season that if we are going to be a more competitive team we have to play some football during the week. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Friday are not good nights to organise this football so that leaves us with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. So the question is simply - What night is best for you? Also give me your thoughts on where and what time. We need to get this organised in the next couple of weeks so if anyone has any ideas please let them be known.

Dan says monday! As for where, that depends on what we are training for, practice or five a side or fitness.

Having asked those players who went back to the pub on Sunday it looks like the favourite night is Wednesday, although depending on availability it could be Tuesday or Thursday.
Mid-week training would be a bit like the time we spend on the astro-turf on a Sunday. No physical training but probably two a or three games.

WITH REGARDS TO THAT, I WOULDN'T BE AVAILABLE TUES, OR WEDS, MONDAY WOULD MEAN GIVING UP PLAYING WITHT WORK, BUT TUES I TRAIN WITH MY OLD CLUB ON FIVE A SIDE COURTS, AND WED'S IS STEEDS, WHO WOULD LYNCH ME IF I TRIED NOT SHOWING UP TO TRAINING!

Not a problem Dan. I know not all people are going to be able to make it but I'm just trying to make sure we get enough to make it worthwhile. On a completely different subject...... the new kit. I wanted to create a link that would show you what it will be like but I can't get access to the website. You can try yourself at www.soccerkits.comSelect the Football Kits option from the menu (not the sale kits) and look for the Plasma navy and tangerine (it looks nicer than it sounds) kit, reference number K06. Hopefully it will meet with your approval. See you Sunday.

With regards the New Kit, i believe i'm right in saying that the middle kit on this link (http://www.soccerkits.com/index.php?cPath=24_255&sort=3a&page=10) is the one we're having?
And yes. my approval is met!
I'll look a lot better when i score this season! Unlike the rag tag scarecrow i was last year!

And quickly, as this seems to be our latest method of communcation. What colour printing have we had, and have we numbered the shorts?

Numbered the shorts. Are you joking!!!!!! Can you imagine the chaos of the likes of Harry and Kelvin trying to make sure that they have the same number on their shorts as is on their shirts. We'd never make it out onto the pitch. The printing on the shirts will be white which I think will bring out the colour of your eyes Finally, I will only be communicating by the message board in future so you will need to bring a laptop with you to training on Sunday so I can give out my training instructions!!!!!

If you look at the website home page you will see that we have four pre-season friendlies arranged for the last four Sundays in August.
All the details are posted on the website.
