we beat samba 3-2 on sunday, still cant believe it, they missed a penalty, one of there blokes were sayin theyve missed 5 in a row now lol. they just lacked someone who finished well up front as the skin head up front missed abt 5 clean cut chances. we played well though and we had 3 chances and scored 3 goals, hope it helps other teams out, from reading previous posts about samba, it seems they have the same old problem, they are shite up front, we won la la la we won la la la

I must admit Squirrel that I had to look twice at that result before I believed it but it is a great one for you. Well done. It just goes to show that each and every team in this division are beatable. Some teams are better than others but if the attitude and effort (and luck) are not right anyone can beat them. The good news for Bridge Inn FC Squirrel is that we play you in three weeks or so just when your confidence is sky high

I have to say i think the lad from varsity was watching a different game!? I play for optima but was out injured and went to watch optima at the race horse ground but to be honest i had to watch samba as i had to see what ll the fuss was about. samba was poor in the first half but a totally different team in the second. They murderd varsity with fast passing but i dont think it was the forwards that was the problem it was the defence! They are slow at the back and got hit on the break. The shaved had lad up front did not have five chances at all as i thought he was quite starved of service but he still killed varsity with his movement and pace and still manged to score i think he only had two chances in the whole game but samba also missed a penalty and some lad missed a wide open goal. Like i said i think the lad was watching a totally dfferent game but it shows samba are not invinceable.
