Yesterday's result

Although 3-3 against bottom of the league may not sound to great, yesterday was a good battling display. We were missing 4 of our better quality players for the game. With that level of players missing from the team we can't expext to play at the same level of previous weeks.

That is the 2nd game this season that we have salvaged a draw from a difficult situation. In previous seasons I don't think we would have been able to do this, especially not twice and also with the injury problems we had.

So well done to everyone.

I must also add that the player ratings of 6 out of 10, on the website, do seem harsh given my points above and how hard we all battled. It was only really quality and not effort that held us back yesterday.

Having looked at the scores I have dished out for previous performances this season I think (for once ) Gaz does have a point.

Therefore after having been reassessed by the performance review panel (i.e. me!!) I am pleased to confirm that all players who played 45 minutes or more will receive a mark of 7 for the game against Corinthians and subs will receive 6.

Obviously whoever receives the Man of the Match accolade will receive a bonus mark!!!!

Also scarely enough I can't disagree with anything else Gareth has said either. Gareth..... talking sense....... I must be dreaming
