Does everyone realise that La Toque's translation is << This translation has been removed so as to protect the innocent - Ed>> ? Can we not change it to something that other teams wont laugh at? I don't know something really menacing like "BEASTon Bulls" perhaps??!!!

Spot the bloody student!!!!!!! Until I read your post above I was completely oblivious to its meaning and happy for this to be the team name. Now Craig did ask at the Trophy Night if anyone had any objections to changing the name and no-one spoke up!!!! Perhaps we could be called something really good like..... Dynamo Dales!!!!! - P.S. This is an in joke for players who have played for us for a while!!!!

Ian you ungrateful Wisel, without their sponsorship, you'd have been playing in a crappy old kit, you'd have looked an even worst player than you already do.
Bloody students!!!

Yes, perhaps I should have spoken up at the presentation evening but I was too busy basking in glory. Also, I didn't realise what the translation was then (the editors removal of which smacks strongly of Big Brother type control!). I was thinking maybe we could meet our sponsers halfway on the name by having Bridge Inn Football Club in french. How does this sound? club du football d'auberge de pont I can just imagine Harry shouting this one out across the pitch... "Strength! Commitment! Lift it Club du football d'auberge de pont!"
