CONFIRMATION - Training Sunday 6 January

After football last night it seems that there is enough interest to have a bit of a training session this coming Sunday (6 January).

Contrary to what I said after last nights session we will be training at Harvey Hadden Stadium NOT Beeston Weirfields. I checked with the Council and all the pitches are in use at Weirfields. If all the pitches at Harvey Hadden are being used there is still quite bit of space available to us.

Start time will be 10:30am and the plan will be to go on until about 12:15 - 12:30pm.

I will check the weather at about 9-9:30am on Sunday morning and IF it is really bad then I'll let everyone know that it is cancelled. However this will only be if it's absolutely pissing it down or if there is 3 inches of snow on the ground NOT if it is 'a bit damp and cold' !!!! If you don't hear from me assume it is still on.

And on that note I'll leave it there. Can I please ask however, that if your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend please let me know as early as possible (10am Sunday morning won't be acceptable : so that I can keep an eye on numbers and make sure we have enough turning up to make it worthwhile.

I'll be there on Sunday Matt (unless it's cold or wet!). Was training good last night? I quite fancied it but after the hairy part of a week on the magahyperpiss I thought my little ticker needed a rest!

I take it that training will just be a kick about and not something so uncivilized or ghastly as shuttles or circuits?

Hello my little tartan friend. I was beginning to worry about you ;D Glad to hear that you're still in the land of the living.

Don't worry about Sunday, although there will probably be a few laps of the pitch as a warm up , there will be no fitness training so your extra layer of blubber is safe for now

However never under estimate what I can accomplish with a thousand space markers and few traffic cones ;D
