Hi Dan, Sorry for the delay in replying but I haven't checked the message board for sometime. Of the teams we have played so far FC Samba and FC Dynamo have been by far the best teams. Of the two FC Samba probably played the better football but then FC Dyanmo stuck nine past us and yet I didn't think they were technically as good!!! Which team do you play for?

Hi i play for beeston united and we played samba a couple of weeks ago and only lost 1-0.saying that they batterd us and it should of been 10-0 they had a good lad in midfield and a lad up front with a shaved head who was both doing the damage.we couldnt get the ball off them for long periods and seemed like we was chasing shadows.dynamo are a good side but i dont think theyare as good as samba but bestwood youth are genuinly crap and cant win without intimidation. But theres a long way to go yet isnt there mate.

Dont agree. I think Victory Club and AFC Bridgford are the ones to watch. Samba are no way as good as last season, dynamo arew a 1 man team, but victory club are very hard to beat, and Bridgord have only dropped down the table due to still being in the fa cup, which the rest of us are out of, and they have played two very strong sides in it.
Victory club are my favourites for it

Victory club?!!! Are you serious! Im sorry but i have to disagree and as for afc bridgeford they are a decent team that is run well but thats all. Ive seen both play before and if samba play as they did against us they'll have no probs beating any of them. But like i said theres a long way to go and injury's etc, come from no where so anything can happen. as for us i think its the wooden spoon!!!

Ain't victory club top?? Surely that counts for something. regarding Bridgford, I seen them play and I thought they were shit hot. Saw them beat Robin Hood and Little John 5-1 who are in a lot higher league than all of us. I truly thik Victory Club. Samba are nowhere as near as good as they used to be.

Robin hood are shite! afc bridgeford had to advertise for players thats how good they are.like i said (decent) as far as know samba actually strengthend their side this season with one or two very good players according to their web site. and they have a game in hand so its got to level out yet. Lets just agree to differ and see what happens.

Unfortunately I don't have an opinion on either Victory Club or AFC Bridgford as we haven't played either of them yet.
We play Victory Club in a couple of weeks and any team that is top of the table needs to be given respect. What is happening with them? Arn't they Three Tuns as was? The only thing I know is that Scott Pickworth and a couple of the other Three Tuns lads now play for Royal Oak (BCA last season).
And AFC Bridgford had a good cup win against wellofc.co.uk last weekend which was a pretty good result.

im a member of le grand and we drew with samba last weekend 1-1, they are a good team and we were fortunate to get a win, i tip them to win the league they seem to have a team bond that most teams dont.
having looked at the upcoming fixtures ,fc samba play dynamo in two weeks so that will go a long way in deciding the winners, also looking at sambas websites they are thinking about moving to saturday football so this is the last season in sunday for them.

Hi Paul,
Fortunate or not it was still a great result for you last week and gives the rest of us a bit of hope that they are not perfect ;D
Whether they are the best team or not, I'm not so sure now as they don't seem to beat teams as easily as FC Dynamo. But you are right the game between the two in a couple of weeks will go some way to deciding which of the two teams is better. It's a pity we are playing that week as I would have liked to have watched that game.

we played samba in the cup at weekend they trounced us 6-2 , after extra time, we went 2-0 down then pulled it back thanks to the aid of a puddle lol. but i was amazed at times how they passed the ball so good, i mean we were shit in tracking runners but there left winger is lightining fast. i tip them to win the league to be honest, i hope so because dynamo came to watch as there game was called off and there lad came up to us and said they fault samba were shit.
there lanky centre half sent our player 2 hospital for 15 stitches was the only sour note to a good game, for us mid table mud bath lies ahead

Nice to see Bridge Inn have a decent webiste and a bit of banter going on.
Many thanks for the kind comments from those teams we have played this season. We've had a steady start in the league (unbeaten) but for some reason we just haven't been able to put the ball in the net that often. Bestwood are ok and we were lucky to get a 3-3 draw but we expect to beat them next time.
For me it will be between Samba & Dynamo (again!) but can't comment on teams like Victory Club who we haven't played and must be top for a reason. Bridgford were decent last season but drop too many points against teams they should probably beat.
Got to reply to the "Samba aren't as good as they used to be" comment. Its only our 2nd season! We're unbeaten in the league, have all the same players as last season and added a couple!! A few key injuries haven't helped (no excuse) our start but we'll be up there come May!!
Good Luck Bridge Inn in your next game.

Rumour has it that samba have lost their best player???! IS this true? I know this lad his name's paul walker or (WAK) as he's formaly called but im not sure if it's true or not? According to samba's web site he has!!!!! He's the best forward in this division i feel and holds every scoreing record known to man so id love to know why he left the MIGHTY samba!!!! or has he found a team yet? Very,Very,Interesting! Dynamo hold a strong advantage now i think!
