hi lads. we had a really good game against kimbelrley today. was winning 1-0 after 5 seconds and held on to it until the ref in his wisdom added on 14 mins extra time in the second half (none in the first) and they scored twice. someone update me. can refs add time on for throw ins and corners. I DONT THINK SO. so bvasically conned by someone who we booked to ref. we had them on the ropes for most the game. looked like we were goning to do a real carlton when we shocked them last season. but not to be. can u imagine lads how pi***d off i am. there teams good enough without having a 12th man. for that matter he made up for 5 players. have a good end to the season lads. looks like you will pip us by a point or two, unless u beat greyfriars. pull off the shock lads.

Hi Dave.
I can imagine that your lads were devestated by conceding 2 late goals to lose the game. Especially against one of the top three teams in the division.
Unfortunately, and I know this isn't going to make things any easier for you, but the referee is solely responsible for time keeping during the game and can add time as he sees fit. For anything basically.
There are guidelines such as add 30 seconds for each substitution made, goal scored, etc. But these are only guidelines.
Still a good performance by the sounds of it though. We played them a couple of weeks ago and were beaten 5-2 so you've got to take the positives from it even if it has left a bad taste in your mouth.

thanks matt yes we did take a lot of positives out of it. on paper they got the 3 points. morally we win. spoke to eddie and he says 14 mins is ridiculous and is looking into why he added that much time on. eddie says injurys yes. time wasting also. but have you seen a team waste 14 mins before?. in football every team goes on a go slow when winning. 4 or 5 mins maybe. they scored in the 10th min of injury time. still im proud of our lads. best battling performance all season.
cheers matt dave

Sorry Dave. I thought you were exaggerating with the 14 minutes of injury time Yes that amount of time is ridiculous unless there has been a serious injury or something like that. And even then I've never known that amount of time be added before. During the Reading v Chelsea match when they had two keepers strechered off there was only 9 minutes added
