Good Afternoon to you all, Over the last few weeks as you all know we haven't been playing well!!!! I'm sure we all want this to change. So lets start now. Team spirit has been a bit low so lets raise it. I need you all (yes all of you) to get posting with your messages of good will. I want you to get on the message board and start publicly showing your support. Its my job to pick the team and encourage and support but lets not forget this is Sunday League football. I need as much help as I can get. So please get on the message board , showing your support for the team. We are alot better than we have been showing recently and I think we all need a boost. I want us all to turn up Sunday with the bit between our teeth so as Delia would say 'lets hear you' no critisism allowed only encouragement. Come on boys help me out. I know most of you read this board but only a few ever post. Nows the time to make a statement get on post your signs of encouragement lets get to Sunday ready and raring to go. PS I want to hear from everyone. Mumblings will be back tonight remember S.A.S. Come on you blues!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'll do my bit by quoting the now departed Brian Clough. He always maintained that when things weren't going well a club should 'close ranks'. I think its time we closed ranks. We should stick together and everyone should support each other to help the club reach its goals. i.e. playing well and winning matches. It's not always easy to do because we ALL want the team to do well, but I don't think anyone within the squad is really in a position to be critical of anyone else. Something I always try to encourage the team to do (but sometimes forget it myself) is STAY POSITIVE. See the good things that your teams mates are doing and not just the bad. And constantly encourage EVERYONE in the team. COME ON YOU BLUES P.S. I'm sure I could be encouraged to have a Babycham or two on a night out

Matt, I find you witty response very encouraging. However, It sounds like you have been spending a bit of time with the Samba god squad with your profound statements, although there is nothing wrong with that as:
We should all remeber, that as Mark Morrison said 'Only god can judge us'.

Personally I prefer the profound statements of Baloo
When you pick a pawpaw Or a prickly pear And you prick a raw paw Next time beware Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw When you pick a pear Try to use the claw But you don't need to use the claw When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw
All our problems are solved this Sunday ;D
