Yes this is the longest thread that you had.You can give players there own place to have there say like this but they never seem to want to take up doing it this way to put points across.Maybe one day Dave you will get to have a game and not have the team let you down.What you going to do with this free week coming up soon Matt your sides not had one for ages as used to have right number of teams in league and not an odd one like this season I don't see the reason in having divisions with odd numbers in them.

No I don't understand having divisions with odd numbers in them either. Although that said this time it's due to the fact that we have a bye in the cup not due to the odd number of teams. Me personally I'll probably go out on Saturday night and wake up with a stinking hangover. Same as normal then  |

hi all. dissapointing against a far better side today. lost 5-0 to dk landscape(a1 glazing, make no mistake) should have been 15. how the hell did you cope with them matt. far to strong ,skilful , for us. if any team is in any doubt if its a1 glazing, dont be. it is them. 3rd in prem last season. this is not me with sour grapes, but they are far to good for this division. glad to know that most other teams, like volo and your team matt, are better this season. you need to be.

Unlucky Dave but at least you had a match this week nobody let you down so your lads got to play football again after there break.La Toque turning point I would say came after they lost the pre season friendly against Chilwell F.C Reserves and they not looked back since.

hi div 3 fan (elvis?) not unlucky. just totally outclassed. it was like man utd versus nuneaton. didnt seem like we had a game cos we couldnt get the ball. all credit to all those who get a sniff against them. well done la torque for getting two goals. thinking about asking for a 4th division next season, but may end up playing chelsea, as theyll need a trophy next season and probably drop down to our division. im not so dissapointed with my players, as peed off with the buracrats that make the rules. need looking at. guess you all know im really miffed by now. but thats how i feel.

Hi Dave,
Agree with what you've put about D&K. Within the first minute of our game against them it was obvious that they were a class above. We played them in a howling gale however which meant that it was a game of two halves, if you see what I mean.
One of our lads seemed to think that they were two clubs joined together. A1 Glazing and a team from another league.
It is annoying when a team is obviously too good for a division. Sometimes I guess it can't be helped because it's not possible for the committee to know how good ALL the new teams are but I would have thought the situation with D&K could have been avoided.

D&K Landscapes are A1 Glazing and Winning Post joined together. something has to be done to stop (GLORY HUNTERS) entering our league every season just because they arent good enough to win something at a higher division.There seems to be one every year.  |

hi matt and paul. i know the true version of d&k. let me tell you. they decided after coming 4th in the prem last season that they wanted out of the notts combination, so applied to another league, and joined up with the winning post.(clifton team). but one of the managers ran off with the money, so they decided to go back into the notts combi league. with westdale wanderers, of div 3, not paying fines etc, they got booted nad guess what. in steps a1 glazing. into the third division. i have an email on my pc stating that they are a1 glazing without the troublemakers. but have been told since its just simply a1 glazing under a new name. and this was told to me by there secretary. so there you go lads. hope you do well against them paul cos seems like volo are being very consistent.
ive read your report on the game against kimberley. sounds like you were ripped off. but like jamie davey, if we complained wed get booted out the league. im so frustrated about all this crap we put up with when we want to play teams equal on standards, i even mentioned it to jeff johnson. shall we make a fuss at league meeting matt? i know you cant comment paul, cos you havent played them, and im sure your side will do well. when you playing them? anyway lads ive moaned enough, but only cos i feel sorry for all the small teams that are going to be battered by these glory hunters. as i said we were lucky to get away with 5.

hi lads. just to clarify what you said matt. the league DOES know who they are. for one they have there registration forms (same names as last season), and two, well all the other stuff ive put and know to be true.

Hi dave. We play them in november i believe.But yes we was ripped off yesterday plus we have learnt of another interesting fact that we didnt know yesterday as ive just found out myself but i think its best i dont say anything in print.i was the player chucked out the league and re-instated dave from last season.I was given a warning so i always watch what im saying on websites now and i have nothing to do with the volo website which i thinks best.But if you read the website report that penalty decision was undescribable.ive never experienced anything like that while playing at any level.I and everyone else was gombsmacked.A game we colud of easily of won by 3 or 4 so dont be worried by them just get amoungst them and upset their passing and dont give away free kicks.They cant shoot with them but they can deliver well.if you want to ask me any tip's mate just send an e-mail the volo website as it has a link to my e-mail adress. I agree don't think it's right when teams that have been in the high division drop right the way down so that they can win or try and win the bottom league that not fair on any of the other teams in that division.I wonder were Westdale had vanished too as not see them on the league results.Well done La Toque you keep on getting them all important results.

hi div 3 fan. westdale didnt pay fines and registration fee on time so were ejected from league before it started. hence letting in d&k landscapes. from my point of view its 2 years of building up a team for nothing in my case. we will never be the best team, we know that and will never allow bigheaded players in. we pride ourselves on letting the average joe play football. but did gel the last 8 games last season. we did have all the game against urban, but couldnt finish. we equalled la torque, who as you can see have done so well. so thats an achievement for us and although we did beat la torque twice last season, they are a stronger team this time.
but this sunday makes me want to pack it all up. i really am that peed off. grrrrrr, still fuming. still my motto isnt, if you cant beat em join em. thatll never happen in my team.
